Communication Access UK Launch

On 12th November, Communication Matters, the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists and partner organisations launched the Communication Access Symbol and e-learning for businesses.

The communication access symbol is a blue square. Inside the square is the outline of two white heads which are facing each other. There are clockwise arrows, one above and one below the heads showing that communication is a two way process. Both heads have ears, eyes and a mouth showing that listening, looking, understanding and speech are all important in communication access.

This will improve support for 14-million people in the UK with communication difficulties.
