RELAXED EXHIBITION

A pre-conference event in a relaxed and inclusive environment

Communication Matters International AAC Conference will be opening its doors a day early on Sunday the 7th of September to welcome AAC users, conference delegates and members of the public who would like to learn more about Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) in a relaxed exhibition space.

We will be limiting the number of people who can attend, lowering sensory input and offering chill out and flexible meeting spaces to create an inclusive environment for attendees to meet with leading suppliers of communication aids, equipment, software and symbol systems.

This event is free of charge for all attendees and refreshments will be provided. Please book a timeslot to visit the exhibition from either 1-3pm or 3-5pm.

*If you are planning to come to the full Communication Matters International AAC Conference, add the Relaxed Exhibition option when registering by clicking here. There is no need to book a ticket.

Why come to the Relaxed Exhibition?

The Relaxed Exhibition will be held in The Refectory on the University of Leeds campus. This contemporary space is wheelchair accessible and has a Changing Places nearby. There will be chill out spaces available as well as room to move conversation to a quieter place.

Over 20 suppliers and organisations from around the UK and further afield will be on hand, providing ample opportunity to try out and ask questions about a wide range of products and services related to AAC and assistive technologies.

Check back soon for a full list of companies and organisations who will be exhibiting.
