Archive - 'Hello', The National Year of Communication 2011
In 2011, Communication Matters supported the 'Hello' campaign, led by the Communication Trust, to promote The National Year of Communication. The aim of the 'Hello' campaign was to increase understanding of how important it is for children and young people to develop good communication skills. For further information about the campaign, visit the Hello website.
Each month highlighted a different aspect of speech, language and communication needs. October focused on AAC with the theme 'More Than Words', which also links in with the ISAAC International AAC Awareness Month.
