Ticket sales are now closed for Communication Matters International AAC Conference. Delegates will have received emails confirming their Conference and Accommodation bookings.
This year, we are launching CM’s Conference App for smartphones and AAC devices. Delegates will receive details of how to access the App in September. In the meantime, delegates can look forward to a full programme of events, including:
Relaxed Exhibition, Sunday 13 September
It’s the same as the Exhibition on Monday and Tuesday, but for a limited number of people who want meet exhibitors and ask questions in a calmer environment. If you have your tickets, please see our Easy Read Guide for what to expect.
Poster Exhibition, Monday 14 September
The Poster Exhibition will be open from 10:30 Monday 14 September. Make sure to take time to explore the Posters and meet some of the authors. This promises to be a great opportunity to meet other delegates and explore the topics through discussion.
Remember to vote for your favourite poster. Your vote will enter you into the Prize Draw for an AAC book.
Our Patron, Chris Bugaj, has shared four short videos to explain the benefits and highlights of the Poster Exhibition. View Chris’ videos here.
Conference Programme, Monday 14 September to Tuesday 15 September
We received more speaker and poster submissions in 2026 than ever before, including speakers from Georgia, Ireland, the Netherlands and USA. As a result we have an exceptional wealth of inspirational speakers and topics to share with you.
The theme of Limitless Communication is reflected in presentations, workshops, lightning talks, meetings and posters on:
AAC Study Day, Wednesday 16 September
The AAC Study Day involves two 2.5 hour workshops, led by Sarah Hayward, Joanna Holmes and Prof Jeff Higginbotham, and is designed to foster active learning and pragmatic thinking, helping attendees shape a more inclusive and innovative future for AAC.
Find out more about the day on our AAC Study Day page. If you have not already booked your place, maybe we will see you at a future event!
