The Ministry of Justice is looking for Registered Intermediaries to meet an increasing demand for their services.
Registered Intermediaries assist vulnerable witnesses (including victims) in communicating and understanding during an investigation and at trial. In some cases an intermediary will be the difference between a witness being able to testify or not. Intermediaries come from a wide background of professional roles and occupations including speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, psychology, social work, teaching and nursing, and bring the skills and experience gained in these roles to their work in this role.
