The Power of Communication: Obstacles presented by Acquired Brain Injury and How to Overcome Them

This event will consider communication issues from all angles covering speech and language therapy, social media and online safety, assistive technology and the Mental Capacity Act. Speakers are drawn from clinical, legal, voluntary and public service backgrounds. The day will culminate in a session delivered wholly through EyeGaze by the artist Sarah Ezekiel. An exhibition will run alongside the event enabling attendees to view the latest assistive technology and information from other relevant organisations.

This conference is aimed at all professionals working in the field of acquired brain injury. There are some grant funded places available for those working in the NHS and public sector.
