AAC Evidence Base Research Project: February 2011 Update

The University of Sheffield has finished its systematic review of peer-reviewed papers on evidence of need for AAC and service provision. The review’s findings will inform the next stage of the research that will look at these topics in more depth. The findings will be published in articles and on this website in the next few months.

Manchester Metropolitan University has completed its initial literature review. This will be used to structure and inform the focus group work that is a key part of the development of the AAC Evidence Database.

The researchers are looking for people to participate in the research. If you are aperson who uses AAC, a family member, carer or practitioner, and you areinterested, then please contact Katie Holmes: [email protected]
