This presentation will give a brief overview of the research evidence for Talking Mats and describe the range of settings that Talking Mats is used in, e.g. rehabilitation settings, care homes, higher education colleges, schools and nurseries. We will also describe and discuss new resources that are currently in development, e.g. Shared Decision Making, Getting It Right for Every Child (GIRFEC), Talking Mats and Pain, Talking Mats and Vulnerability.
We will give an update on the development of a high-tech version of Talking Mats for tablet platforms. We will also welcome suggestions and discussion of new ideas for future Talking Mats resources.
