Summary

Northamptonshire is one of the leading authorities for the use and provision of AAC. This presentation will be delivered by members of our county multi-agency team which includes specialist teachers, technicians, support assistants, speech & language therapists, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists.

Through case studies we will explain how our multi-agency team works; how we assess need and decide between no tech, low-tech and high-tech; and how and when we provide equipment.

This session will be relevant for all those wishing to improve practice in their local area including school practitioners, speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, AAC users, parents and carers.
