Summary

Low tech AAC solutions such as communication charts and passports have long been the silent solution for many people with aphasia. At the request of SLTs and families we are introducing adult vocabulary sets to our range of sound tags for the Logan ProxTalker. This will make the device an easy to use, accessible way to give symbols and photos a voice. A talking communication book! It can be understood and managed in minutes by anybody in the home or hospital environment, quite literally at the touch of a button, supporting symbol communication with verbal output.

This session will  be an opportunity for those working with adults to input in developing a protocol for good practice with this vulnerable and often under supported population. We have developed the starting blocks and we want you to come along and see how easy it will be to run with it!
