My PhD research at Manchester Metropolitan University aims to explore how being an adolescent user of AAC shapes social participation; identify opportunities and challenges regarding social participation; and investigate how mainstream technology impacts on opportunities for social inclusion. My approach is constructivist and uses qualitative methods.
