Summary

It has been a time of change at Great Ormond Street Hospital.

In recent months, the Augmentative Communication Service has undergone a restructuring and rebranding, emerging as the Communication, Learning and Technology Service. This change of name reflects the broader range of children seen within the clinic, and the changes in service delivery that this has brought about.

Our presentation will discuss this name change, as well as introducing the service more generally. We will discuss the range of assessments and intervetnions offered, referral procedures, and what young people, their families and local teams can expect when they visit our clinic.
