AAC Evidence Base Research Project: April 2012 Update

Communication Matters had an exhibition stand at two of the  Voice for Life  events organised by Afasic in association with The Communication Trust. Katie Holmes, our Research Manager, also gave a presentation about the AAC Evidence Base project at both events. The events provided a good opportunity to talk to parents of children who use AAC and practitioners, and to get feedback from them about our research.

We have heard that our proposal for a presentation at the ISAAC 2012 conference has been accepted. The project team is looking forward to sharing some of the early findings from our research with an international audience at the conference in Pittsburgh this summer.
