Communication Matters

Techcess supplies communication aids from Jabbla, the Panasonic ToughBook, communication software & access tools such as the Origin HeadMouse & portable Eyetech TM3 eyegaze device. We will supply DaeSSy mounts for use with our communication devices & switches where required.

• Tellus 3+. A powerful and reliable PC based system with integrated amplified speakers. Access can be via the optional 12.1" touch screen, 1 or 2 switches, HeadMouse or Eyegaze device. GEWA for environmental control is an option. Tellus is supplied with Bluetooth & Wi-Fi connectivity. The Tellus can be supplied with Mind Express or the Grid 2 & there are a number of vocabularies available including CallTalk, Ingfield Dynamic Vocabulary & WordPower / Picture Wordpower. The Tellus will support text messaging via an optional Aircard when using either MindExpress or Grid 2 software.
• Mobi. A Windows™ based communication aid with an 8" touch screen & 8 Gb solid state hard drive. Mobi can be supplied with GEWA environmental control, MindExpress or Grid 2 communication software. Mobi can be ordered with phone hardware built in that can then be configured to work with MindExpress or Grid 2 to offer text messaging.
• Zingui & Zingui Plus. These devices have an 8" touch screen & run Windows Mobile 6™. Using MindExpress you can either make up pages for communication or specify a vocabulary – see above. Zingui is a digitised device, Zingui Plus supports Digitised & Synthesised speech. The Zingui's are light in weight at around 1kg.
• Smart 2. This is a portable Communication aid with a 4" touch screen & is supplied with Windows Mobile 6™ & MindExpress. It weighs 340g.
• Allora. This is a text to speech communication aid with a RealSpeak™ voice synthesiser. The Allora can be supplied with a qwerty or ABC keyboard.
• Eurovocs Suite. Software for text based users that is customisable, gives full PC access, has multiple input methods and has a high quality voice (RealSpeak™).
